Thinking of the need of preserving the cord blood then this article would provide the actual need of the cord blood. When the baby is born then the mother releases umbilical cord with the placenta which is used to transfer the nutrients and oxygen to the baby before their birth. When the baby is born then the doctor usually discard this cord blood. But after several researches it has found that the cord blood could be used to save the life of the child at the time of any severe diseases.

The cord blood consists of the stem cells which are used to create various body organs. If any organ does not function well then the stem cell could be used which has the ability to work in any type of environment. Storing the cord blood safely in the cord blood bank does not harm the baby or the mother’s life. The blood is usually collected after the baby’s birth when the umbilical cord is clamped. Don’t fear that the syringe is used to take out the blood from the baby’s body while the baby is attached with the umbilical cord. So be free from any tension and support the preservation of the cord blood which would act as a life saver for the baby in future.
